The Tempo Communications 402K is a CATV cable tone and probe kit for use with coax. It includes an F-type adapter cable, alligator clips, a receiver, and a carrying case. The kit offers three methods of signal reception—electrostatic pickup for non-terminated cables, electromagnetic pickup for terminated or shorted cables, and direct connection—with both audible tone and LED display.
