The Sporlan 129642 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) for R-22 refrigerant, rated for 3-ton capacity. This valve meters refrigerant flow into the evaporator based on superheat, regulating system performance. It is compatible with R-22 systems and includes a 5-foot external equalizer capillary.
